It’s The Season of Thankfulness
We have some great items that your fish will be so thankful for!
Winter is on it’s way, and with that comes flu season. Just like us, fish are more susceptible to illness in the cold. Make sure to invest in a good heater and some great medicine to keep them healthy.
And while you’re having a Thanksgiving feast, give your fish a treat as well, with some home-grown brine shrimp.
We also want to highlight a great water conditioner.
Finally, don’t forget to scroll down and check out our Fish of the Month!
Why not give your fish their own feast this Thanksgiving? Using the San Francisco Brine Shrimp Hatchery kit, you can! This kit comes with the basics you need to get started! All you need to add is an empty 2 liter bottle of soda and your own air pump. Brine shrimp eggs and salt are included in the hatchery kit, which can be reused over and over.
Those of you who use Won No Ammonia may have noticed that we no longer carry your water conditioner. Don’t worry, we have an excellent alternative: AmQuel.
Safe for Fresh and Saltwater, AmQuel, detoxifies chrloine, as well as Chloramines and ammonia, which are often found in tap water. Just a single bottle 16 fl. Oz bottle will treat 960 gallons.
AmQuel Plus goes a step further, treating chlorine, chloramines, ammonia, and nitrite and nitrate.
This African Cichlid from Lake Malawi is a very colorful Haplochromis. The males get lovely red coloration near the gill plate and wonderful yellow down the back half of the body. They are harem spawners, like other Haplochromis, they prefer to be kept in groups of three or more, so males have more than one mouth brooding female to choose from.
